Show of hands: who wants heated handlebars?

Anybody who has any time under their belt in the backcountry knows there are two must-haves: un-fogged goggles and warm hands. If you don’t have both of these things it doesn’t matter if you are cruising around on a hovering snow DeLorean built by Doc Brown himself.  Without one, you would rather ride a John Deere spit fire to have both.

With snow bikes having warm hands is something very hard to pull off due to the insufficient charging systems dirt bikes have. Knowing it’s not an option to not have reliable heated bars, we figured out a way. After spending more than a few winters in the backcountry we decided we just couldn’t take it anymore so we created (and patented) liquid heated handlebars.

Our liquid heated handlebars are designed to keep your hands warm while maintaining a constant engine temperature. This is important because stock dirt bikes do not use thermostats and when you use your dirt bike in freezing conditions you can pretty much expect to have huge swings in the engine coolant temperature. The inline thermostat with our handle bar kit will maintain a steady 180-degree engine temp. This also helps solve the air-fuel-ratio and engine efficiency problems snow bikes are notorious for.

When in use, engine coolant is routed through the handlebars but uses ZERO electricity to do it. The high-pressure side to the bars is routed on the back side of the thermostat so you have warm hands in less than 30 seconds upon starting of the engine.  Also when you shut the warm bike off it creates a thermal syphon.  Due to the bars being the highest point on the cooling system the bars stay warm for up to 15 minutes after you shut it off.

Our liquid heated handlebars for snow bikes are compatible with all hand guards including the insert style. You won’t have to worry about dead batteries, insufficient charging systems or pain-in-the-ass hand warmer coils failing.  We have also co-branded with Pro Taper on this project. So not only do you get warm hands with 0 electric requirements, you get a bar that you already love and a name proven in the industry.
