Knowledge Is Power

You don’t have to settle for less when you’re hoping for more performance out of your snow bike.

Whether you are new to the snow bike scene or have been riding for a while there is one thing most people can agree on: the existing performance kits on the market aren’t exactly taking riding to the next level. So what are your options? You can continue to deal with the hassle of manual calculations, constant adjustments, boxes crowding your bars… or you Raze the bar on engine management and upgrade to the power you are looking for.

What’s Your Problem?

We’ve heard it all, but the problem we hear the most from snow bike riders is they are tired of the hassles that surface when they try to add needed performance to their machine. Riders don’t want to be wrenching and tuning, they want to be riding and shredding pow and who can blame them? Who wants to stop mid-ride to punch in new fuel numbers? Nobody. Who enjoys the turbo lag and hunting for gears? Nobody. Who wants to ask themselves “if I push the nitrous button now will the engine blow up”? Nobody. Who enjoys the constant need for work-arounds and adjustments? Nobody.

What’s even worse is the Fuel Control Boxes designed by other companies to improve performance of your snow bike don’t fix any of the problems that riders face, it just creates more. While you should be focusing on navigating knarly terrain you just signed yourself up to be the personal babysitter and calculator of your engine management strategy. In order to get the most performance out of your snow bike you really should be adjusting timing, torque management, waste gate position, and fuel delivery methods at 1kHZ (1000 times per second). This may seem, and it often is, humanly impossible.

Aftermarket performance products for snow bikes also don’t solve problem of altitude and barometric pressure changes that make riding dirt bikes as snow bikes a huge hassle – and by huge hassle we mean less horse power with rich AFR (air fuel ratio) and big fuel consumption. Regardless of what type of dirt bike you have, the engine is calibrated to run at lower elevations – not up in the mountains with sub-zero temps, spinning a track. Without constant tuning you better be prepared for an engine that is so pig rich on fuel to carry an extra couple gallons of gas with you on your next ride.

Want to know exactly how much less horse power your snow bike will have up the mountains without compensating for temperature, barometric pressure and altitude? Use this calculation:

HP Loss = (elevation x 0.03 x horsepower @ sea level)/1000

Example: 55 horsepower bike riding at Cooke City, Montana = 36.85 hp @ the crank. (18.15 loss) Not including efficiency loss getting it to the track.

We’ve Got A Solution

Raze Motorsports was created with a single mission in mind: to create performance enhancing products to fuel your adrenaline without the hassle. We spent countless hours using, testing and tweaking the current products on the market and when we weren’t satisfied with the results we created a better way to manage snow bike engine performance.

Our plug-and-play ECU components and snow bike performance kits were created to solve the biggest challenges riders face: constant work-arounds, manual calculations and the need for extra, expensive equipment to improve performance. Our technology uses engine strategies specific to your vehicle which means spot on engine calibrations each and every time. The best part is our products require little to no rider input and gives you full control of the engine to keep it safe.

We started out with a bigger faster processor with more memory as a platform to run the strategies we wanted for our snow bikes.  We have implemented a barometric sensor right in the top of the ECU that dynamically affects fuel tables, timing tables, boost tables and is a very big player in our patented nitrous strategy to deal with the massive altitude swings.  This gave us the foundation to build our 3 levels of performance kits.

Stage 1 is our Wingman Kit which makes a stock bike run efficient resulting in more power, less fuel consumption, and a power band tuned for a snow bike.

Stage 2 is our Ninja Backup Kit which is installed on top of our Stage 1 Kit. You get everything in Stage 1 plus a nitrous product that processes all nitrous logic, safety monitors, and is engaged through the ECU. Thus eliminating that voice in the back of your head going “if I push this button is it going to blow up?”. We have kits for Yeit SnowMX, Moto Trax and Timbersled conversions.

Stage 3 is our King Kong Kit which gives you more power than you could ever dream possible without the monkey business of other aftermarket kits. Our kit idles at boost. It electronically turns down at sea level (2lbs) and goes up at elevation (10lbs). We do not rely on waste gate springs for setting minimum boost - we can command 1 lbs. or 50lbs with our electronics. If you are ready to unleash the beast inside your bike this kit has exactly what you are looking for.
