When the socket headed cap screws are facing up the thermostat is orientated top and bottom. Install a 90-degree fitting in the 1/8npt port of the Raze tstat . Put a 1/4npt plug in the other port if an aftermarket temp sensor is not being used.
KTM 450 2016-2018 - Nipple in the bottom, Plug in lower side, Nipple upper side, Plug Top. Connect water coming out of the cylinder head to lower tstat nipple. Connect upper side port of tstat to middle frame fitting that supplies both tops of the radiators.
KTM 350 12-18/450 12-15 / 500 - Plug bottom, nipple lower side to supplied rubber hose, nipple upper side to supplied rubber hose, plug top. Supplied rubber hose will connect to top of cylinder head this is the supply to the bottom of the thermostat. Other supplied rubber hose will go to middle frame connector and go to upper side port of thermostat.
Yamaha - Nipple bottom, plug lower side, plug upper side, nipple on top. Connect from cylinder head to bottom of tstat. Connect upper radiator to upper tstat fitting.
Suzuki & Kawi - follow Yamaha instructions.
KTM 300 - Follow KTM 450 16-18
Honda - on the right-hand side of the bike the thermostat is going to go in the hose that comes out of the head and feeds to the upper radiator. Assemble the thermostat like in the photo below. The hose right below it that comes out of the bottom of the radiator is going to get the return coupler. Install the return coupler in this lower hose. Connect the short line sent with the kit
