Raze Motorsports Welcomes Darren Berrecloth

How does freeride legend Darren Berrecloth stay ready for gnarly mountain bike events like Red Bull Rampage during the winter? Snow bikes.  As one of the top leading freerides in the world, the backcountry terrain of British Columbia is no match for Berrecloth’s skills. As for his snow bike, well that’s a different story.

Snow bike engine performance should be a priority for all riders, not just professional athletes. But for those that are putting 200+ hours on a race engine in one season like Berrecloth does, it must be perfect. The common issues associated with snow bikes don’t just make long rides a pain in the ass, it can make training for professional events impossible. Like many riders, Berrecloth had a few engine failures last year due to over fueling. After seeing videos from last winter of our riders and customers on their bikes, Berrecloth point blank said: “My bike just won’t pull lines like that.”

It will this year. We are excited to announce that Darren Berrecloth will be joining the Raze Motorsports family. Check out his recent video on training for the Red Bull Rampage and pay close attention to the sound of his engine. We will be doing a side by side comparison of his bike before and after we get our hands on it to properly tune and adjust it for snow bike riding. With his skills and our engineering, the sky’s the limit. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for more videos and updates and make sure to watch for Berrecloth as he competes at the Red Bull Rampage on October 27 in Virgin, Utah.
